Transportation

Boise is easily accessible by car, with Interstate 84 running through the Treasure Valley. The Boise Airport offers direct flights to many major cities. Within the Treasure Valley, driving is the best way to get around, though Boise offers a bike-friendly infrastructure. Treasure valley also has extensive public transportation and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to experience one of our first electric buses.

Weather

Boise and the Treasure Valley experience four distinct seasons. Summers are warm and dry, perfect for outdoor activities, while winters bring snow to the nearby mountains for skiing. Pack layers to accommodate varying temperatures, especially in spring and fall.
