Falling into Gratitude: Team Hipwell’s Harvest Festival Recap & November Happenings in Idaho!

Welcome to our very first monthly update! Each month, we’ll be sharing a bit of what’s happening in our world, from family updates to real estate insights and community events.

Our First-Ever Harvest Festival

We kicked off the fall season with a bang at our first Harvest Festival! It was a joy to welcome so many of you to our home for a fun-filled afternoon. From picking pumpkins and enjoying the bonfire to family photos and a competitive chili cook-off, the day was all about celebrating the season with the people who make what we do so meaningful – our wonderful clients and friends. We hope to make this an annual tradition and see even more of you next year!

What’s Happening This November

As we head toward winter and the holiday season, there are plenty of exciting events in the Boise area this November:

  • Rustic Daisy’s Holiday Bazaar

Experience the magic of the holidays at Rustic Daisy's Holiday Bazaar! November 1st and 2nd is a weekend of shopping, fun, and festive cheer. Find unique gifts, meet local artisans, and enjoy the holiday spirit.

  • First Thursdays Continue in Downtown Boise

Downtown Boise’s local shops bring a unique lineup of in-store events, from food and drink tastings and art exhibits to retail trunk shows, live music, and family-friendly activities. Every experience is crafted to capture the charm of downtown! Most events run from 5–9 pm, though each spot brings its own special flair to the evening. Check the listings HERE for specific hours and details, and discover something new or drop by a favorite!

  • Honoring our Veterans

Most cities honor veterans, active military, and their families at annual Veterans Day events. Consider one of the following this year:

Veterans Parade (Boise) - Saturday, November 2nd, Find more info HERE

Veteran’s Day Potato Feed (Star) - Friday, November 11th, Find more info HERE

  • Winter Wonderland Opening Weekend - Indian Creek Plaza

Each year, downtown Caldwell's Indian Creek lights up with over a million twinkling lights! Hosted by Destination Caldwell and Indian Creek Plaza, the Winter Wonderland Festival is free for all ages. Enjoy a visit with Santa, glide across the ice rink, grab your favorite holiday treat, or start your shopping with a wide range of vendors. Everything you need to kick off the holiday season is right in the heart of Caldwell!

As we move into the holiday season, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for being a part of our community. Whether you’re celebrating with loved ones or planning your next Idaho adventure, I hope you find joy and peace in the coming weeks.
